For the past several months I have been spending my time knitting, crocheting, beading, taking photos, and in general just being crafty. And I'm in love. I love the care and the time it takes, the people I've met who share this passion, the feeling of accomplishment I now have, and the items I create.

A few days ago, I decided I was going to start selling prints of some of my photos. I am doing this on etsy.com, a fabulous place for all things handmade. I will also be putting more things I've made in my store as soon as I can get their pictures taken ... So, I encourage you to go to etsy and look around - and I don't just mean at my things. Support the handmade crafts of people who truly love creating. And if something strikes your fancy, buy it.

• Portrait of Abraham Lincoln - made entirely out of pennies.
• Coffee Art - shapes and critters made out of the foam in an espresso, amazing.

I hope this post is not thought of as a cop-out, but I still not feeling up to my normal self. Scratchy throats are no fun :(. But seriously, these art projects are way cool.
