20/20 ... first time in 15 years!

I survived and it turned out great :) LASIK is totally awesome. The procedure wasn't very bad at all, and seemed to go by super fast. I didn't really feel anything - especially nothing painful. A little pressure here and there but it was only for a few seconds at a time. Yesterday was a little annoying after getting home. Your eyes feel scratchy, although they say that is normal. And I'll be living with several bottles of different eye drops for the next several weeks - but hey, its a small price to pay to not need glasses anymore.

I highly recommend this to anyone ... and if you are in the DFW area, Dr. Ranelle is the best!

congratulations!

So you didnt' freak out about a knife-thing coming at your eyeball to slice it up? That is what is keeping me from considering LASIK. I don't think I could handle my eye being cut. Eeeek!
